Service Options

DIAL-A-RIDE

Hours of Operation:
5 am - 10 pm (Monday-Friday)
8 am - 4 pm (Saturday)
9 am - 4:30 pm (Sunday)

Dial-A-Ride is a curb-to-curb service. Service is available to the general public (including senior citizens and persons with disabilities). LCT's Dial-A-Ride services are available Monday - Sunday on an advance call-in, seat available basis. Trips may be scheduled up to two weeks in advance subject to availability. To arrange a trip call the Scheduling Department at 1-800-406-7541 or (440) 366-0258.

Senior Citizens (65 plus), Persons with Disabilities and Children Ages 3 thru 12 $3.25
Children 3 and Under Free

Personal Care Attendants (PCA) ride at no charge. The scheduling/dispatcher must be advised that a PCA will be riding with the passenger.

A passenger is a "NO SHOW" when the vehicle arrives within the pick up time window and the passenger does not board the vehicle or declines the trip. It is the passengers' obligation to cancel a reserved ride before 4:30 pm the day before the scheduled pick up. Any cancellation received after this time will be counted as a late cancellation.

ADA regulations require wheelchairs or other mobility devices be secured during transport. LCT requires wheelchair passengers to be secured with a LCT installed seatbelt.

ADA regulations require that a person who cannot enter a vehicle using the stairs and who does not use a wheelchair must be allowed to enter the vehicle using the lift, if equipped with grab bars. Driver will ride the lift with the passenger to help steady them, if requested to do so.

COMMUNITY CONNECTORS
 
LCT's Community Connectors offer same day service. This is limited to seat availability. You may also schedule your trips up to two weeks in advance. Service is available to the general public (including senior citizens and persons with disabilities).

To arrange a trip please call the Scheduling Department. Upon scheduling a trip, please be ready within fifteen minutes of the scheduled time of pick up. Drivers are directed to wait no longer than two minutes for each passenger pick up.

If you are unable to make your scheduled trip, as a courtesy to other passengers, please call the Scheduling Department to cancel your trip. This allows LCT to provide efficient and economical service.

Exact fare is required. Drivers do not carry change. Riders may be required to show their Medicare Card, LCT Fare Deal Card or any other identification to show disability in order to participate in the half fare program.

Amherst / South Amherst

This Community Connector provides service upon request, to Oberlin Drug Mart on Route 58, the Fixed Routes #31, #41 and #42 at Kmart in Lorain on Route 58 and the Amherst / South Amherst areas.

7 am - 6 pm (Monday-Friday)
8 am - 4 pm (Saturday)
9 am - 4:30 pm (Sunday)

Avon / Avon Lake

This Community Connector provides service upon request, to the Fixed Route system at the Transfer Point on Griswold Rad, the Fixed Route #3 on Lake Road and the Avon / Avon Lake areas.

Hours of Operation:
7:30 am - 6:30 pm (Monday-Friday)


Oberlin

This Community Connector provides service upon request, to the Oberlin Drug Mart on Route 58, and with the Fixed Route #21 in Downtown Oberlin on East College St. and the Oberlin area.

7 am - 6 pm (Monday-Friday)

AIRPORT SERVICE
